Walnut Praline Cheesecake Recipe

For the crust you’ll need:

  • 1 cup graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup of toasted and finely chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 butter melted

For the ingredients you'll need:

  • 24 Oz of  cream cheese at room temperature
  • 14 Oz of sour cream
  • 3 Tablespoons of All-Purpose Flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

And for the topping:

  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/3 whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup of toasted and finely chopped walnuts

Make the crust by combining all the crust ingredients and pressing down into the bottom of a 9" springfoam pan, then place in the center of an oven at 300 Deg F for 15 minutes.

In a large bowl place the cream cheese and mix gently until smooth and fluffy for 5 minutes – ensure there’s no lumps.

Now add the flour then the vanilla extract and stir for a minute.

Now add one egg  into the mix ensuring that it’s blended before adding the next egg.

Lastly add in the sour cream and mix before pouring it all into the crust and bake in the oven.

Create the praline walnut topping by combining the sugar and whipping cream into a saucepan at medium temperature. Mix until the sugar dissolves then add in the walnuts.

After removing the cheesecake from the oven spread the praline walnut topping over it and refrigerate overnight.
