Strawberry Cheesecake Marinier Recipe

For this filling you’ll need:

  • 2 cups of fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 32 Oz of cream cheese at room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup Grand Marnier Liqueur
  • 1 8-ounce carton of sour cream at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts

In a large bowl place the cream cheese and mix gently until smooth and fluffy for 5 minutes – ensure there’s no lumps.

Now add the sugar and liqueur and continue mixing for another minute.

Add the vanilla extract and mix for another minute.

Now add one egg into the mix ensuring that it’s blended before adding the next egg.

Add the sour cream and mix.

Take one cup of the fresh strawberries and crush them in a mixer then add into the mixture and blend.

Pour mixture into your favourite crust and bake in the oven.

Remove the cheesecake after 3 hours and garnish with the remaining cup of fresh strawberries and the walnuts.
