Making The Crust

For some people the best part of the Cheesecake is the actual crust, not what’s in it! Personally I think a chocolate crust on a white chocolate and milk chocolate swirl cheesecake is just heaven, but hey, that’s just me…

Anyway onto making the crust. Gather together the following ingredients:

  • 3 cups of cookie crumbs
  • 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 8 tablespoons of unsalted butter

Now heat your oven to 375 Deg F.

Combine the cookie crumbs and sugar in a bowl and mix them all together. Next melt the butter in a small sauce pan then pour evenly into the bowl. Using a spatula or spoon mix the melt butter into the cookies to finish the mix.

Pour this mixture into a 9″ springfoam pan and press down gently to firstly create the base of the crust, then up the sides to form the wall of the crust.

When the ovens ready place the pan into the centre of it for 12 minutes. Hey presto you have your crust!
